I've reviewed previously when I got a QWNN for my dad. It was popular and I had to come back to get more for my family of campers, might as well offer a little update.
The picture shows the QWNN in action one night in which part of the group wanted to play cards. Lower right is the glow of the (roughly 16"/41cm) fire pit, the lamp circled in blue is one of our previous heavy duty camp lamps (now demoted to toilet lamp), the QWNN is the tiny sun (highest setting) close to the players. Hopefully the picture allows others to see how well the QWNN illuminates along with the rough expectation of the area it can cover. At the lowest candle setting it was about as bright as the older camp lamp (enough for safe meal prep at night) but still illuminated a much larger area.
We have noticed two pleasant additional surprises from using the QWNN: they don't attract as many bugs as the other lights do, and they don't affect our night vision as much either so we still get to enjoy stargazing without having to force everyone into darkness.
Needless to say, everyone is excited about getting their own to have on the ready; be it for a camping trip, at home for a blackout, or any other situation (it is the lamp my dad offers as an aid for any handyman that needs good illumination if the lights can't be on, like the painters that recently fixed up and painted the ceiling).
